    I like this place!
Downtown Bangkok is a great little place. Comfortable, clean and above all tasty. The menu offers a nice selection. Nothing that will blow you away but is is very good and reasonably priced. A few steps above similar type restaurants and my favorite restaurant in this area for this style cuisine.

I have been to Bangkok in Downtown many times, and have ordered sushi every time, so I can’t comment on the Thai cuisine. The sushi here is good, but I am still waiting for an excellent sushi restaurant in Vero Beach!! One of the other “thai” restaurants used to have EXCELLENT sushi (the best I have ever had in my whole life), but they must have lost their excellent sushi chef, because that one hasn’t been even “good” in a long time. I pick Bangkok as my favorite in the area, simply because the ambiance is better than Siam Orchid (Siam is my favorite for take-out sushi, because the quality of the sushi is just slightly better, but it is too loud in there, and the service at Bangkok is much better, too).

Great service, food very good as well…. the Hamachee roll is outrageously good..the Curry choices are abundant, and very cheap…. been here a number of times…. last night went with a party of 5 spent under $120 for a great time…

My husband and I enjoy Japanese and Thai food, but not sushi, so I have no comment on sushi. However, as for the other, the food falls flat; it is bland and basic. Siam Orchid (20th St & US1) is the better choice.

Odered just Thai food. Green and Red dishes were good. Also ordered beef Panang. The beef was tough. Overall okay but service was slow and they were out of 20% of there white wines.Shouldn’t have to ask for water, should have been offered.

What! Really?

According to Old London’s brand Melba Toast, Melba Toast was Inspired and named after the popular opera diva, Nellie Melba in the late 1800’s. Nellie refused to eat her pate on a thick slice of bread. “A sandwich, dear friend, at this hour goes against my taste and my figure.”
Famed Parisian Chef Auguste Escoffier went back to the kitchen, thinly sliced the bread and toasted it, creating a delicious low-fat, low-calorie snack cracker.
