Croce Giambanco, owner of Stellas Italian Bistro and Nino’s Restaurant opens a third location for his Nino’s brand on the corner of 43 Ave. and Rte 60. Scheduled to open Mon. October 27, his third location aptly named Nino’s Corner, will fill the location of the former Quick Snack restaurant.
Those that live out west of town welcome this fantastic casual addition to the area. With a pizza, salads and subs type menu, Nino’s Corner serves many of the same items you will find at the other locations with a few exception. This is a casual, fast serve restaurant that is a sure bet for a quick bite. Order right at the counter, pay your tab and take your seat until your ticket is called or your order is brought out for you. Take out will probably be very popular here but there is also quaint dining area that was spruced-up from the Quick Snack days. With inexpensive but quality offerings that average between $5-$10 you really can’t go wrong. Now when you take a drive out to the mall or you’re looking for a new place for lunch you can skip the fast food chains and stop by Nino’s Corner.
We attended the preview event on Sunday and tasted our way though the day. The Greek Pizza with Mozzarella, Feta, Kalamata olives, red onions, banana peppers and oregano is a sure thing. There is also a good variety of specialty pizzas with regular or Sicilian styles available. Cold and hot subs including Steak and Cheese, Sausage and Peppers, Chicken, Eggplant, and Meatball Parmesan are all presented in toasted, quality sub rolls with melted cheese. A variety of salads including Antipasto, Chicken Caesar, chef salad and more are also among the offerings. Nino’s Corner will be open starting Oct 27 so be sure to check them out!
