I have had two outstanding meals there prepared by chef extraordinaire Michelle Hennessy, and the friendly, attentive service by Duncan and the waitstaff could not have been better!
The food was good but not over the top and the pricing is reasonable. With a lot of average restaurants in Sebastian this one is worth a trip. The service is well intentioned but needs a bit of help. The lamb chops where particularly noteworthy and perhaps the best thing we’ve tried on the menu. Entrees have a nice choice of side dishes including a very good spinach soufflé, tasty home made steak fries, twice baked potato or a salad. We will try again soon.
Most Excellent!! The spinach souffle and the lamb chops were fantastic!!! The four of us each enjoyed this comfortable and classy dining experience. The wait staff was attentive to our needs and entertaining as well. Michelle Hennessy, the chef, made this dinner even more enjoyable with a personal introduction. This area could certainly do with more restaurants of this caliber.
For Sebastian this place is tops. Cowboy Rib-eye, although a little slim was cooked perfect and had a good flavor. The spinach souffle was unbelievable. Will go again.
Retired from NYC, I have visited this restaurant on 4 seperate occasions with my girlfriend, met Michelle, Patty and Duncan, each extremely attentive and concerned with our having an extraordinary dining experience. To keep it simple, the people are real and the food REAL GOOD! The menu and wine selections, ambiance and price are right on the mark. Parking can be a challange with poor lighting and broken concrete (Valet would be Nice!)… But this handicaped Gent will be there again & again. Thanks Guys!
This is an outstanding restaurant with friendly and attentive service. It’s a definite MUST for anyone in or passing through the area. We’ve been there twice and look forward to another great dining experience on our next visit.
My wife and I have dined at the River Grille numerous times bringing guests from all over the country.Each experience was memorable both in the food and the attention from Gus, Michele and the entire staff.
I especially enjoy the Shrimp Scampi and the Stuffed Salmon. The spinach souffle is worth a trip on its own.
